Antiques & Uniques was born when Kym Eggers fell in love with the cute yellow gingerbread trimmed house in Palm Harbor with the huge oak tree covered back patio. She convinced her business partner, Laura Cheek, that it would make a fabulous antique mall. They opened their doors in July 2011 with 20 dealers and consignment artists eager to be part of their venture. They were so popular that they soon had a waiting list of dealers wanting to join their group.

When the opportunity arose to lease another store in Ozona, Kym and Laura were reluctant. Once they saw the picket fenced yard, cozy front porch, huge oak tree decks, beamed cathedral ceilings, copper counter tops and unique spaces, they were convinced it was perfect for their second location. So in December their second Antiques and Uniques store was open in Ozona fully occupied and representing over 30 dealers and consignees.
